Syracuse, N.Y. – The CNY RISE Center is hosting a virtual interfaith prayer meeting Monday night to help fight the coronavirus pandemic.
The service will start at 6.30 p.m. and religious leaders from all over Syracuse will offer their prayers. Participants include Bishop Lucia of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Syracuse, Imam Mohammed ElFikhi of CNY Islamic Society, Rabbi Andrew Pepperstone of Beth Sholom-Chevra Shas and Imam Amir Duric of Hendricks Chapel, among others.
Dr. Bekir Aksoy of Respect University will also send a message to sick people.
Interfaith dialogue is a targeted interaction between individuals who have different beliefs.
