PARIS (Reuters) – Renault (RENA.PA) President Jean-Dominique Senard said Friday that the automaker could apply for bank loans worth 4 to 5 billion euros (4.4 to 5.4 billion dollars).
“It could be in this type of region,” Senard told RTL radio, who also recalled that Renault is not currently considering a scenario in which the French state nationalizes the company.
Renault canceled its dividend on Thursday and said Senard and interim CEO Clotilde Delbos had agreed to pay cuts to help fund a solidarity fund for staff affected by the coronavirus crisis.
