SU seniors will have a diploma, after all: Syracuse University Chancellor Kent Syverud announced Wednesday that the 2020 class launch ceremonies, which had been postponed due to the coronavirus, will take place in the Carrier Dome after all – but once the renovations on roof over and after health officials agree that large gatherings are safe. “I promise you, we will make it special, meaningful and memorable,” said Syverud.

No party, but a big birthday surprise: Two brothers from central New York who are celebrating their birthdays this week could not organize their usual party with their friends and family.
