The first movers include:
(-) Groupon (GRPN), which was more than 1% lower as media, citing an email from Groupon interim CEO Aaron Cooper said the company had put “important parts” of its sales and sales operations due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
(+) SAP (SAP) increased by more than 2% after releasing its preliminary results for the first quarter, with total sales up 7% year-on-year to 6.52 billion euros (7 .09 billion dollars) and non-IFRS operating profit up 1% to 1.48 billion euros.
In other sector news:
(+) Microchip Technology (MCHP) was still up slightly one day after declaring that it expected sequential net sales to increase by about 3% for the quarter ended March 31, compared to its previous forecasts for about sequential stagnation.
