Finally, we have reached the finals of the first TNIAAM CNY restaurant support, and we have a story of helluva Cinderella. But before letting Jim Nantz win with the main event, I wanted to think about the uniqueness of this whole experience in Syracuse. We had the Sunday selection scandal, a relatively calm environment as I dismissed the underdogs at every stage, and we now have a final with Syracuse, NY, local stops in what can only be described as Syracuse Orange-eque makes it to the final.

It is certainly not Duke vs Kentucky, and it is certainly only CNY. In one corner, we have had a Liverpool staple since 1917, recognized by the Food Network and Man vs Food. Specialized in all hot dogs, sausages and summer accompaniments that allow you to really soak up these few summer months. In the other corner, Varsity is the staple food of the SU campus, feeding students, alumni and everyone in Orange since 1926. Although most are known for their pizza, hot food is my favorite, while the line for fresh wraps is usually saved with an assortment of scrubs from hospitals next door. However, I’m not sure if there is a Heid banner flipped if they win this game.
