The announcement by the NFL of its calendar for 2020 (even in a context of widespread uncertainty as to how the games will be withdrawn and when they are released) brought news from Amazon.com (AMZN + 0.5%) that 11 games on Prime Video and Twitch will be released at no additional cost to members of Amazon Prime.
Amazon and the NFL renewed their streaming partnership on April 29, including an exclusive game for the first time.
The 11 games come from the Thursday night list of football games, which are slated to start (for now) on October 8 when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers visit the Chicago Bears.
These games are not exclusive; they are also available on Fox and NFL Network. But Amazon will exclusively broadcast an end-of-season match on Saturday this year.
