The death toll in the county is increasing as the number of nursing homes added: The number of people killed in Onondaga County due to a coronavirus was revised upward on Thursday, as the county added deaths in nursing homes for what it believes to be the first time. So far, 60 deaths have been reported in the county. “I had a hammer on my head today,” said County Director Ryan McMahon.
