New Delhi, Apr 8 (PTI) Gold prices rose Rs 28 on Thursday to Rs 46,390 per 10 grams of futures trading as speculators set new positions on robust spot demand.
On the Multi-Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for June delivery traded up Rs 28, or 0.06 percent, at Rs 46,390 per 10 grams on a business turnover of 12,403 lots.
Analysts believe that the new positions created by the participants have led to a rise in the price of gold.
The price of gold in New York rose 0.12% to $ 1,743.70 an ounce. PTI AST SHW SHW
