New Delhi, Apr 8 (PTI) In futures trading on Thursday, silver prices surged Rs 272 to Rs 66,906 per kg as participants increased their bets on strong spot demand.
On the Multi-Commodity Exchange, May silver rose Rs 272, or 0.41 percent, to Rs 66,906 per kg in 9,884 lots.
Analysts believe that the rise in silver prices was mainly due to new positions created by participants on a positive internal trend.
Likewise, globally, silver traded up 0.45 percent to $ 25.36 an ounce in New York. PTI AST SHW SHW
