YAOUNDE, Cameroon. Oil produced by Cameroon between January and April rose 47% from the previous year, data released Thursday by the West African National Hydrocarbon Corporation (SNH) showed.
“As of April 30, domestic crude oil production was 13.25 million barrels, up 47% from 9.04 million barrels produced in the same period last year,” SNH reports.
While the final oil production data for the previous year has yet to be released, SNH data showed that 32.8 million barrels of crude were produced between January and October 2020, up 5% from a year earlier.
