Gold and other precious metals on Friday 11 June 2021
Gold prices on the world market continued their upward trend today compared to yesterday. Spot gold rose 0.07% to $ 1,899.2 per troy ounce. This price level is 8.4% higher than the average gold price over the past 30 days ($ 1,739.7). Among other precious metals, silver prices rose today. Silver rose 0.3% to $ 28.1 per troy ounce.
Further, the price of platinum showed an increase. Precious metal platinum rose 0.3% to $ 1,157.0 per troy ounce. Meanwhile, in India, gold was estimated at ₹49015 for 10 grams on MCX, with modification ₹53.9. In addition, the price of 24k gold in the Indian spot market was quoted at ₹48890.

Gold futures in India jumped 0.11% on MCX to ₹49015 by 10 grams. In the previous session, gold rose 0.1% or so ₹53.9 per 10 grams.
On the MCX, silver futures are up nearly 0.39% or ₹282.0 per kg to the price level ₹72320 per kg.
Spot gold price today ( ₹48890) increased by ₹53.9 from yesterday ( ₹48880), along with a rise in world spot prices of $ 1.39 to today’s value of $ 1899.2. A similar trend was observed at the MCX futures price with an increase by ₹53.9 and value ₹49015 for today.
