Macro guru Raul Pal on bitcoin, ethereum and nine additional altcoins betting – here’s his current crypto portfolio

Real Vision CEO Raul Pal is revealing much of his crypto portfolio to the public.

In a new interview with Thinking Crypto, the former Goldman Sachs executive says that he initially started out as a Bitcoin (BTC) investor and then transferred most of his BTC to Ethereum (ETH).

Pal says he then assembled a basket of 10 large-cap altcoins of the same weight. He later added the Solana (SOL) smart contract platform to his portfolio.

In an interview last week, the CEO of Real Vision noted that 82% of his portfolio is in ETH.

In his new interview with Thinking Crypto, he says that one of the smaller crypto assets he owns has experienced such a significant jump in price that it has become his second largest holding.

“Interestingly, my second largest holding now from a basket with the same weight, inferior to Ethereum, is Sandbox.

I bought it, in the last month and a half it has grown 20 times, and this is crazy.

I mean, I wouldn’t take that position, the second largest position in the Sandbox, but this is where it is and I’m not changing the balance yet. ”

Sandbox (SAND) is an Ethereum-based virtual world that allows video game fans to create, own and monetize their gaming experience. The project’s own token, SAND, is used for value transfer, network security, and protocol management.

Pal also mentions that he was betting on the Ethereum-based Decentraland (MANA) decentralized virtual gaming world. Decentraland’s own token, MANA, is used as a medium of exchange.

The CEO of Real Vision says he has also gambled on several decentralized finance (DeFi) projects, including the Aave Lending Protocol (AAVE), the Uniswap Decentralized Exchange (UNI), and the Polkadot (DOT) smart contract platform.

Additionally, Pal notes that he has made a couple of bets on social tokens, including Chiliz and Rally.

Chiliz (CHZ) is a sports and esports tokenization platform to encourage engagement with fans.

Rally (RLY) is a decentralized network that allows creators and brands to monetize their content and offer benefits to the community.

Pal also says he owns XRP, citing a US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) lawsuit against payment company Ripple as a major factor.
